Anxiety and Depression
There are different types of anxiety and depression, just as there are different types of people. What is one person’s experience may be different for another.
I believe that depression and anxiety is our bodies way of saying we are out of balance.
Something is not working and the road we are going down is not the right one for us. Medication is one way to deal with anxiety and depression, but it is not always effective. After all, when medication ceases the underlying problem that caused the anxiety and depression is quite often still present. In counselling we examine the possible causes of the condition and look at new ways of dealing and coping with life’s challenges.
